FRAMINGHAM (10/17/2003) - The SCO Group Inc. said it will give Linux users another two weeks before doubling the license fees it's seeking from them to cover what the company claims is unauthorized use of its Unix technology. The current price of US$699 per CPU will remain in effect until Oct. 31, SCO said. The Lindon, Utah-based company has also indefinitely shelved a plan to begin sending licensing invoices to corporate Linux users.
