Lycoris releases v3 of Desktop/LX

FRAMINGHAM (09/26/2003) - The latest versions of Lycoris Inc.'s Desktop/LX Linux-based operating systems are now available. New features include improved tutorials, hundreds of updated drivers, crisper font handling, increased support for Hewlett-Packard Co. printers and autoconfiguration of Wi-Fi connections, according to the Redmond, Washington-based company. The software is available in three versions, including the enterprise-level Lycoris Desktop/LX InterConnect Update 3 version. The US$229 package includes the operating system and an office suite featuring a word processor, address book, calendaring application, spreadsheet software and a presentation application.
