Mercury Interactive Corp., a global business technology optimization (BTO) company, has announced that Brad Boston, CIO of Cisco Systems Inc., has joined the Mercury board of directors.
The company says that Boston is responsible for Cisco's worldwide use of ICT. It adds that Boston drives Cisco's ICT foundation strategy to enable end-to-end business processes and ICT efficiencies throughout the organization, in order to optimize the company's productivity, speed and agility.

Mercury also notes that Boston has held executive positions at Corio Inc., Sabre Holdings Corp., American Express Inc., Visa, United Airlines/Covia and at American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago.
In addition to his Mercury appointment, Boston is a member of the HP board of advisors, NetNumber board of directors, Harvard Group board of advisors, and the E-business advisory board for Texas Christian University's MJ Neeley School of Business.
