PeopleSoft specialist supplier for EOH

EOH Consulting Services Western Cape (Pty) Ltd. has acquired Idea 2 Action (I2A), a consultancy specializing in ICT infrastructure and business application design and installation. The acquisition, effective from May 1, positions EOH as the PeopleSoft Inc. supplier of choice in southern Africa.

EOH will integrate I2A into J-Enterprise, its existing PeopleSoft business unit.

"We believe that I2A's strength in the PeopleSoft space will bring immense value to our business. Its approach is also very similar to ours, which ensures that there is great synergy between the teams, and the transition will be seamless. The I2A client base will also benefit from the other services on offer at EOH. Offerings such as our business consulting, supply chain consulting and business process outsourcing have provided J-Enterprise with a strong competitive advantage," comments Ken Cullinan, MD of J-Enterprise.

J-Enterprise's strength in the supply chain logistics sector will be boosted by the acquisition of I2A, as it brings with it a wealth of experience and a formidable client base, says Michael Blumenthal, MD of I2A

He adds, "We are a company undergoing major transition, and reached a point where access to the resources of a much larger organization would help us to achieve our goals. We have enjoyed a long and fruitful association with EOH, and felt that it was the ideal partner, in terms of its market positioning and ethical business practices."

"From an EOH perspective this transaction is a great vote of confidence from the PeopleSoft community in J-Enterprise. We are proud of what Ken Cullinan and his team have achieved. We welcome Michael and the expertise of his group, and are excited by the opportunities that this new venture brings," says Rob Sporen, director at EOH.

The acquisition will result in a team of 55 PeopleSoft consultants, "A good size for a consultancy practice in SA," concludes Cullinan.
