JOHANNESBURG (04/01/2004) - Ascential Software Corp., the enterprise data integration company, has been awarded the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status for software products.
This certification brings market recognition to companies providing consistent, high-quality products built on the Microsoft platform, says Julian Field, MD of local Ascential distributor CenterField Software. To date, Ascential Software is one of a few independent software vendors to receive such certification.
"Gold Certified Partners are the highest level of Microsoft solutions partners in Microsoft's partner program," Field says. "They have access to the tools and support they need to help them stand out in the market. Partners at this level have the opportunity to build close working relationship with Microsoft (Corp.) through various activities and by participating in joint development projects."
Only companies that have demonstrated the highest levels of customer service, proven their experience and attained advanced certification receive the designation of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Field says.
With this certification, Microsoft recognizes Ascential for its skills and expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology, he says.
"Ascential's long-standing relationship with Microsoft is extended with this coveted certification distinction," he says. "The company's existing relationship with Microsoft, and now this certification, are important for the company, its partners, and its customers."
To maximize customers' ICT investments, Ascential will continue to provide complete, fully certified integration between the Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite and the Microsoft platform, Field says.
Microsoft's partner program helps customers identify companies that have proven experience with Microsoft products and solutions, Field says.
