AmVia appoints Galdon Data as service partner

JOHANNESBURG (04/01/2004) - Galdon Data, the first and only AmVia-appointed Service Partner, has announced that its managed installation procedures have been endorsed by local distributor, AmVia, after the successful completion of a full audit.

The company says its solutions include: Captaris' RightFax and CallXpress, together with Cardiff's TELEform, all of which aim to enable more efficient communication within and between enterprises, to save costs and to improve information flow.

"Customers and suppliers dealing with Galdon Data have the peace of mind of having the full backing of AmVia's certification as an approved services partner," says Fairoz Jaffer, Galdon Data sales & marketing director.

He adds that its managed implementation process, which includes consulting services, project manager, training, warranty and installation, protects the customer, reduces risk and ensures a smooth and successful project.

AmVia's product growth executive, Danie Gordon, notes that the organization is dependent upon channel partners like Galdon Data to drive its solutions into the corporate market. "We value the commitment of this partner, and anticipate a sustained and flourishing partnership going forward."

Jaffer continues, "We have recorded successes both on our own, as well as in partnership with other ICT companies, demonstrating the flexibility with which we approach solution implementation."

"Our company is dedicated to the AmVia range of products, and has managed to grow a core set of competencies around the products. As both a Platinum and Service Partner, we are able to offer a very high level of service and expertise in providing enterprise communication solutions, enabling us to perform implementations across many enterprise packages, including SAP AG, JD Edwards and more," Jaffer concludes.
