SIS restructures

JOHANNESBURG (03/09/2004) - According to SIS, the fast pace of business growth and technology convergence is driving companies to look toward strategic partners that can provide aggregated business services through a single relationship.

It has thus reorganized its operations to address the provision of consulting and business solution development services to its clients, and to entrench and broaden its existing offerings.

The company says that the reorganization of the company has resulted in the formation of The SIS Group, an organization active in the provision of Business Solutions through its subsidiaries SIS, One Turn and COSIS.

Each subsidiary, it says, operates in a specialist focus area. SIS retains its focus on business consulting and implementation, with COSIS being an outsource provider of BPO and Shared Services. One Turn is a dedicated ASP, providing businesses with access to integrated enterprise applications on a pay per use basis through its partner network.

The group adds that although the subsidiaries are autonomous entities, they offer complementary services and collaborate to ensure clients seamless access to group services.

The group of companies collaborate on a single framework of products comprising ERP, Payroll, HR, CRM, Business Intelligence and Balanced Scorecard.

Rob Hawley, CEO of SIS Holdings, says, "I believe that it is the exceptional knowledge base within the organization paired with broad experience that enables the group to continue providing products and services to its clients." The SIS Group is currently based in South Africa, with representation in the U.K. and Russia.
