HONG KONG (03/03/2004) - Guangdong Telecom (GD Telecom) has selected offerings by Concord Communications Inc. to help manage its network at China's Dongguan branch.
GD Telecom has implemented Concord's eHealth Suite E2E Console and eHealth Live Health - dedicated, respectively, to fault and performance management and network monitoring.
"As a leading division of China Telecom, GD Telecom needs a comprehensive set of fault and performance management software for its network and systems," said Benny Su, engineer at Guangdong Telecom's Dongguan branch.
"Concord's eHealth Suite not only helps us detect bottlenecks in real time, but also enhances fault management and capacity planning."
The company was planning to expand in-house usage of the eHealth Suite, he said.
"This win marks Concord's successful expansion into a most valued market -- China," said William Ip, North Asia representative of Concord Communications Inc.
"Guangdong Telecom sees the strength of Concord's business management solutions, and this partnership has strong benefits for both companies," Ip added
