Former CIO promoted to EVP of Indus' field operations

FRAMINGHAM (02/13/2004) - John D. Gregg, who began his career as a software developer in 1970, was named EVP of field operations for Indus International Inc. Most recently, Gregg served as the president of the Atlanta-based service delivery management software provider's utility systems business unit. He held this position since Indus' acquisition of the business from Systems & Computer Technology Corporation (SCT) on March 5, 2003. He was also president of the business unit at SCT.

Prior to being named President of SCT Global Energy and Utilities Solutions in December 2000, Gregg held positions at SCT as vice president of strategic business development and vice president of marketing. He began his career in the IS department at South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) where he was initially involved in the development of customer information and supply chain systems. From there he went on to be chief operations officer of SCANA Software Corp. He later returned to SCE&G where he held the positions of chief information officer and vice president of marketing and economic development.

Gregg graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration and from the University of Michigan's Public Utility Executive Program.
