Microsoft touts database features

SAN FRANCISCO (11/17/2003) - Microsoft Corp. has announced tools designed to improve the administration capabilities of current and future versions of its SQL Server database. Planned for the Yukon version of SQL Server, due in 2004, is a reconstituted DTS (Data Transformation Services) technology for the ETL (extracting, transforming, and loading) of data. DTS will feature graphical debugging and "fuzzy lookup."
