Nano money

FRAMINGHAM (01/15/2004) - The U.S. Congress passed the Nanotechnology Research and Development Act, which authorizes US$3.7 billion over four years to fund government nanotech programs and the creation of the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office. The bill requires the creation of research centers and nanotech training programs. Biotech industry experts praised the bill as a good sign for the nascent nanobiotech field, as nearly all prior funding came from research grant programs.
