JOHANNESBURG (01/14/2004) - Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings (EOH) on Wednesday announced the formation of Impact Africa, a Syspro Impact Software implementation partner created to offer specialized technical ICT skills to the industrial and engineering sectors.
The new business unit was established to consolidate over 900 of the Impact/Syspro sites that were previously serviced and supported by the different EOH regional offices located in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.
With over 60 qualified Syspro consultants, Impact Africa will support and service sites in South Africa (SA) and African countries, including Botswana, Angola, Zimbabwe and Swaziland.
"With the formation of this new business unit we are consolidating our pool of skilled consultants from around the country. This will ensure that our clients receive expert advice and solutions that are streamlined and tailored for their specific needs," says Rob Sporen, executive director of EOH.
"The formation of this unit will also facilitate the relationship with Syspro who now has one coordinated point of contact, rather than four separate offices," adds Sporen.
John Lovell has been appointed as MD of the new unit. Prior to joining the EOH Group, John was a Syspro product designer for 14 years. His responsibilities will include coordination of all strategic account management, and reviewing the group's methodology and operational performance standards.
"While the new unit is still in its infancy, we are already pooling our knowledge and expertise with the other EOH business units to bring extended services and solutions to the EOH client base," says John Lovell.
