JOHANNESBURG (11/26/2003) - M-Five Software Pty. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Trans Business Machines (TBM) in Kenya to its network of value-adding implementation partners for Hansa Business Solutions financial and e-business software.
According to M-Five Software MD, Keith Mullan, the business is growing at a rapid pace, and there is a huge demand for Hansa throughout Africa.
"More and more vendors of traditional ERP solutions are struggling to sell their offering into the African market, primarily because most of these products are costly, and at the end of their development cycle. The African market is perfectly placed to receive a product that boasts the latest technology - Hansa Financials, a modular, enterprise-wide ERP and CRM system, originally intended for SMEs, but increasingly being utilized by mid-range companies."
"Trans Business Machines has a high level of technical skills and a wide range of experience in the entire range of IBM Corp. hardware and software products from the PC, storage, and Lotus Notes, through to the S/390 mainframe. The company strives to work closely with its customers to obtain a thorough understanding of their business and operational problems before recommending solutions. We are pleased to welcome it to the M-Five Software family," he adds.
TBM MD, Henry Maina, says Hansa Business Solutions makes e-business a reality. "Hansa offers us an easy way to launch into e-business. The ease-of-use of the system and the rich GUI front end together with the single data file concept will be immensely useful to us and our target users. This strong Hansa feature will help to integrate the accounting department into the rest of the organization and help management to make better informed decisions."
"Furthermore, the Hansa solution would augment our IBM hardware sales on the AS/400 (iSeries) platform, enabling us to provide total solutions. Finally, more than 50,000 companies using the system around the world cannot be wrong," he concludes.
