Following last year's release of the 3D Cooler series, Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. and Rectron (Pty) Ltd. have introduced a new high-performance addition, the 3D Cooler-Ultra 2004 GT Edition.
The new 3D Cooler-Ultra aims to encompass the series' cooler, silent and tool-free features and is built entirely of copper for maximum cooling performance.
"The 3D Cooler-Ultra definitely breaks away from the traditional cooler design with its "all-copper" construction, as well as the heat sink combination of high-density copper fins and embedded heat pipes," comments Reon Coetzee, marketing manager at Rectron.
The 3D Cooler-Ultra features a 3.5-inch front panel and a rear PC panel with a fan speed controller that aims to allow users to adjust the fan speed.
In addition, the cooler is able to operate at fan speeds between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm, while keeping the noise level within the range of 20dBA 45dBA, the company says.
The 3D Cooler-Ultra is also compatible with P4, K7 and K8 platforms and no tools are required for installation, Rectron concludes.
