Version 9.5 to have new features

Opera is to integrate anti-phishing technology from Haute Secure into version 9.5 of the browser.
The technology will head off drive-by malware from legitimate websites that have been compromised, as well as from sites known to be distributing malicious code, according to Opera.
The system will allow Opera users to feed malicious-site information back into databases run by Haute or Opera's other anti-phishing partners, Netcraft and PhishTank, bolstering the effectiveness of the systems, Opera says.
Opera also gets anti-phishing information from Google, which it says is the sole information supplier for the rival Firefox 3 browser.
Opera's technology will also be more precise than that found in Firefox 3, Opera says, allowing specific hacked pages to be blocked, rather than being limited to blacklisting entire domains.
The company has not yet set a release date for Opera 9.5, but has distributed a release candidate.
