Hamilton's NetValue partners with US software giant

Hamilton company NetValue is the first NZ company to achieve the status of Microsoft High Performance Computing (HPC) Partner and has won the software giant's global support for its product.

Genesis Research and Development Corporation yesterday announced that Microsoft will provide global support for the Cartesian Software, developed by Genesis in 2003-4 and sold to NetValue in 2005.

Cartesian, which is now marketed as SLIM Search, allows customers to perform complex genomic searches and analysis in real time for advanced biological studies in genomes without the aid of a supercomputer.

Microsoft appointed NetValue a High Performance Computing (HPC) Partner and a Microsoft High Potential Managed Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner at a Leading Financial Services Conference in the US where SLIM Search was demonstrated on Microsoft Windows HPC Server 2008.

Through the programme, Microsoft will devote resources to help accelerate the adoption of NetValue’s SLIM technology in the marketplace.
