Fronde names ex Optus exec Jurczyszyn GM strategic alliances

Jurczyszyn has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian telco and ICT sector

Wellington-based IT services company Fronde has named Daniel Jurczyszyn general manager strategic alliances, based in Melbourne, saying his priority will be to “focus on the ground breaking partnership with AFL club Carlton, developing the relationship and leveraging this valued alliance.”

Fronde announced in May that it had entered into a strategic partnership with Melbourne’s Carlton Football Club under which the club took a shareholding in Fronde.The company said the partnership would give it access to Carlton’s 40,000 members and their “extensive and influential network” through business events and individual introductions.

It said the club would benefit from any return on investment and “digital technology that will extend the club’s relationship with a growing fan base.”No other details of that initiative have been revealed.

Jurczyszyn has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian telco and ICT sector, with a number of companies including Optus, FieldForce4 and ClickSoftware. His responsibilities have included leading and coaching people, strategy development, marketing, business development, project management, and product development.

He was with Optus and its subsidiary, Alphawest from 2002 to 2011, finishing as General Manager Marketing & Strategy at Alphawest, and most recently a director of email and mobile field workforce management software company, FiedlForce4.
