VMob has helped develop the new 7-Eleven Australia Fuel App, leveraging VMob technology to allow customers in Australia to identify the lowest prices for petrol at their local 7-Eleven stores and pay that price at any store location within seven days.

“The 7-Eleven Fuel App represents a milestone in convenience store marketing, but also location-based marketing in general,” says Scott Bradley, CEO and founder, VMob.

“It’s a perfect example of a company finding a balance between utility and value for their customers plus value for the business.

“After 18 months of development and working closely with 7-Eleven’s digital team, we are thrilled to see how positively the market is responding to this innovation.”

Bradley says the 7-Eleven Fuel App is the latest customer engagement innovation to be powered by VMob’s industry-leading platform.

“VMob’s intelligent personalisation platform uses data collected from the app and sources to offer each customer relevant deals on other convenience items they may need,” Bradley adds.

“This is the first app of its kind and creates the personalised experience that leads to increased customer satisfaction and retention.”

Bradley says the 7-Eleven Fuel App officially launched on March 3, and is available on both iOS and Android and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

“The 7-Eleven Fuel App is a world-first innovation that forms a key part of our strategy to continue to be Australia’s number one convenience store,” adds Paul Wallace, Digital marketing manager, 7-Eleven Australia.

“The launch of this app is about providing customers with digital products that are easy to use and allow them greater choice when purchasing fuel.”
