Certus Solutions, an IBM systems integrator in Australia and New Zealand, has appointed Kiwi businessman, Trevor Janes as its new Chair.
According to Certus, Janes’ new role is key to the company’s ambitious growth strategy for the next five years, consolidating on the current strong position as one of the leading systems integrator for IBM technology in the region.
Bringing extensive leadership and planning experience gained across a number of companies and industries in New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom, Janes has an impressive track record of growing companies to a significant level and navigating them through various obstacles to achieve key growth and transformation related goals.
According to Brian Allen, CEO, Certus Solutions, the appointment was a logical step in the organisation’s growth strategy.
“Trevor is an excellent choice to lead Certus as we enter the next phase of our business,” he says.

An investment banker and financial analyst by trade, Janes is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Professionals New Zealand Inc., and previously was a Fellow and past Chair of the New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts.
