New Zealand process mapping software company Promapp Solutions Limited has appointed Sarah Berkowski as chief marketing officer, as it bids to expand across North America.
With nearly 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles in North America, Berkowski is charged with directing Promapp’s entry into that market, effective immediately.
As chief marketing officer, Berkowski is responsible for driving Promapp’s B2B marketing efforts with multinational organisations worldwide, and across a broad portfolio of industries that include IT, financial services, retail, transport, education, manufacturing and distribution, freight, logistics, utilities and mining.
“Sarah has extensive management experience in building teams, as well as a demonstrated track record of business-to-business successes in growing international brands through traditional and social media marketing, both of which are key to Promapp’s global expansion strategy for 2015,” says Ivan Seselj, CEO, Promapp.
“She not only understands Kiwi “can-do” culture but also how to translate this into propositions that resonate in North American B2B markets.”
Returning home from her most recent role as associate vice president, Corporate Marketing and Communications of LoyaltyOne, Berkowski was responsible for driving brand awareness and lead generation across North America and globally, in support of LoyaltyOne’s growth objectives.
Berkowski began her career in sales and marketing at Telecom New Zealand (now Spark) before moving overseas and joining Sprint Canada Inc, where she held progressively more senior sales and marketing positions.
When Sprint Canada Inc. was acquired by Rogers Communications, she became vice president, marketing for Rogers Business Solutions and later vice president, small business services for Rogers Cable.
