NZ Tech appoints new CEO...

“You can’t work for any business and get this level of opportunity, whether it is in public service or the private sector."

Graeme Muller is the new CEO of the New Zealand Technology Industry Association (NZTech).

NZTech, formed six years ago, represents over over 100 tech companies, universities, polytechs and government agencies.

Before this appointment, Muller was managing partner of ecosystm, a a research and advisory company.

He also worked with IDC on a raft of roles, including New Zealand country manager, managing director for the Asia Pacific region, and Managing Director, Northern Europe & IDC Insights (EMEA).

Muller replaces Candace Kinser who is now 'leverage lead' for New Zealand for big data company Palantir Technologies.

This CEO role is equivalent to getting an MBA on the job, says says Bennett Medary, chair of NZTech and founder and chair of SimplHealth: “You can’t work for any business and get this level of opportunity, whether it is in public service or the private sector."
