Development hub opened in Auckland CBD

LiveOps launch of an Auckland development hub coincides with the opening of a new data centre in Sydney.

LiveOps, cloud contact centre and customer service solutions provider, has opened a new development facility in Auckland’s CBD.

The facility will help drive corporate product development and better serve the company’s growing regional customer base.

Marty Beard, chairman and CEO of LiveOps said, “New Zealand is central to the LiveOps cloud application development program, and we are delighted to open this global development hub. This new facility will support our highly-skilled team of local engineers and developers as they continue to do such great work in creating innovative new products.

“This facility will be a thriving technology hub not only for our existing development team, but also for fresh graduates seeking to become a part of a fast-growing, global cloud software company.”

The launch of an Auckland development hub coincides with the opening of a new data centre in Sydney to ensure customers with high-speed access to the cloud-based network.

LiveOps entered the New Zealand market in 2011 with the acquisition of Datasquirt. According to the company, it has doubled its customer and partner base since entering the NZ market, and currently employs 21 highly-skilled software engineers as a core component of the LiveOps global development team.

The company recently raised US$30 million from Comerica Bank to accelerate its global expansion.
