A new online web shop at brewer DB is the first of its kind in Asia Pacific to use SAP’s latest web channel experience management (WCEM) software.
DB IS manager Mike Rawson says customers can now order at any time of the day or night – not just during business hours. “All our DB beer and cider products, as well as associated merchandise such as glasses, coasters and other branded items, are now available for ordering online at any time that suits the customer.”
He describes the web shop as a key plank in an ambitious programme of change underpinned by leading IT technologies to optimise sales activity and customer service effectiveness.
The web shop was built and deployed by UXC Oxygen, with input from Union Digital. UXC Oxygen is DB’s SAP systems integrator.
DB has received an SAP customer award of excellence for its use of the company's channel experience software for its online application. The award is one of five that UXC Oxygen won in conjunction with customers at this year's SAP customer awards of excellence.
