ACC gets new CIO
- 13 March, 2012 22:00
Former Housing New Zealand chief information officer Paul Jepson will take up the role of CIO at the Accident Compensation Corporation on April 10. He had been with Housing NZ since 2010.
Richard Doig, who was the previous ACC CIO, has been promoted to general manager enterprise planning and information technology.
ACC has also appointed a new chief financial officer. Mark Dosser will take up the position in mid April.
As reported in Computerworld last week, Shane Hamill is now the acting CIO at Housing NZ.
Hamill has been with Housing NZ since December 2006 and has been acting CIO on occasions during the past three years. His most recent role has been manager of delivery services.
Transformation project leader Philippa Jones said last month that Housing NZ expected to garner net benefits of $70 million over the next three years from its transformation programme, which is now scheduled for delivery by July 31.
Last November, Computerworld reported that some staff and vendors close to the $72 million project claimed it was in trouble. The state-owned enterprise rejected their allegations.
